Chase Renwick has been involved with the Libertarian Party since the 2016 election. He started his involvement by co-founding the Libertarian Party of Dekalb and has served as their Secretary since. During 2016 he worked on the campaigns of Claire Ball for Illinois Comptroller, Kent McMillen for US Senate, and Gary Johnson for US President. He then ran against 6 individuals for Sycamore Township Trustee in 2017. Chase received 8.91% of the vote (584 votes) in the election.
Moving in 2018, he worked on the campaigns of John Eldon Mathey for 70th District State Representative, Claire Ball for Illinois Comptroller, Kash Jackson for Illinois Governor, Sanj Mohip for Illinois Lieutenant Governor, and Steve Dutner for Illinois Secretary of State.
He additionally served in a marketing role for the Libertarian Party of Illinois for 3.5 years before accepting the role of Social Media Director for the Libertarian Party of Illinois in June of 2019. He became a dual chapter member in 2019. Chase serves as Secretary of the Libertarian Party of Dekalb County Illinois and Social Media Director for Fox Valley Libertarian Party
Chase loves to spend much of his time outdoors and meeting new people. He’s passionate about shopping garage sales, forest preserves, and museum in his spare time. Chase runs business development for a local credit union.
